Zozibini Tunzi Miss Universe 2020 to be Crowned in May
After a delay within the Miss Universe 2020 crowning thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s all systems choose the highly anticipated pageant because the Miss Universe team has revealed that The 69th Miss Universe pageant will happen on May 16, 2021. The Miss Universe 2020 pageant will happen at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, Florida and it’ll see Zozibini Tunzi delivering her crown to a replacement queen who will take over the reins from her. “The moment we’ve all been waiting for…The 69th #MISSUNIVERSE competition is heading to Hollywood, FL! 🎉 MISS UNIVERSE will air live round the world from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Sunday, May 16 at 8:00 PM ET. @hardrockholly,” reads an Instagram post on the Miss Universe IG page. The reigning Miss Universe Zozi, is preparing in elation for the forthcoming pageant and she or he cannot wait to crown subsequent queen. In a post, she said she is happy for each contestant, “See you’ll 16th in Hollywood, Florida! My @missuniverse fan side is screaming!!😃😃😃 It’s always so exciting on behalf of me to observe the show and it’s finally here 😍 .I’m so excited for each contestants’ journey and that i wish all of them the simplest of luck!❤,” reads her post. Zozibini was crowned in December 2019, and in her powerful speech at the Miss Universe stage, drew a robust reaction from the crowds and fans and undoubtedly secured her spot because the winner. This follows after she encouraged women to require up space. “I grew up during a world where a lady who seems like me — with my quite skin and my quite hair — was never considered to be beautiful, i feel it’s time that stops today. i would like children to seem at me and see my face, and that i want them to ascertain their faces reflected in mine,” said Zozibini.
