Mzansi actor Siyabonga Shibe, who plays Qhabanga, are going to be written off the show soon. Uzalo cast members are gearing to return to the soapie, but Siyabonga Shibe is making his answer. He confirmed this to an area press where he revealed he would be leaving the show soon. “I’m getting to miss the expansion that came with playing the character, who has gone from cop to criminal and pastor. I’m getting to miss working with the cast, crew, and everybody who worked to form the show a hit,” he said. Siyabonga said while he couldn’t reveal where he was going, his focus would get on writing and submitting shows. “I’m getting to specialise in writing, which I missed. There are other things I’m performing on at the instant, but I cannot yet confirm or mention them. “It’s getting to be so nice to spend time with family,” he said. He said he would be back on the tiny screen after his break. “I’m taking a while bent relax and specialise in behind-the-scenes stuff. i will be able to however revisit into the hang of things at some stage. “I want to specialise in doing things I’ve always wanted to try to to. I had an honest run with Uzalo and it’s been an honest ride,” he said. Siyabonga’s departure came within the wake of stories that a number of the show’s old characters like Khaya Dladla would make a comeback soon.
