Lesego Tlhabi Shares How She Got Fat Shamed By a serious Local Designer. Body shaming is one among the main disadvantages of being a star, because people genuinely think it’s okay to to discuss someones body, especially when their plus size. Many plus sized celebs have spoken up about bullies who throw insensitive judgments on social media and publicly regarding their weight and appears, and it’s not okay. Larger than life celebrity Lesego Thlabi took to twitter to share her experience of fat shaming from an area designer, of which she chose to stay private due to work obligations. In a series of tweets, the Trending SA host shared that a famous designer who was previously briefed about her dress size, decided to cause a scene about her size within the store for everybody to listen to. Not only did they humiliate her but the designer also used an insensitive slur to ask her when the dress didn’t fit, of which hurt her very deeply “So today I visited a famous designer who was told my sizes way beforehand because it’s for TV. Does he not then declare fortissimo within the store after a failed try-on that he has nothing on behalf of me & then uses words like “fatty boom boom” to explain how I’d look within the designs.

She further mentioned that Fat phobia is twice as hurtful as the other shaming, and making someone desire their undeserving is that the most cruel thing that anyone could ever do to a different person. “To the convo in the week, this is often why fatphobia is so different than other shaming. i used to be made to desire but nothing today due to my body. My body isn’t ok for his dresses & he let that shit be known. He really could’ve said that to the stylist ON THE PHONE” she wrote. In a follow up tweet, Lesego shared how gutted she is by the designers insensitivity but just like the queen she is, she chose to possess skin however, this is often a lesson for all those that fat shame other s without batting an eye fixed. “Heyi I’m hurt af.
