Enthusiasts of songstress Thandiswa Mazwai went into full festival mode as Lord Tha – as she’s affectionately called – declared that she is at long last going to give individuals what they need as a collection, a narrative, a file and a show.
Any evident Lord Tha fan will disclose to you that the songstress has one of the most steadfast fan bases on the mainland, individuals who have been supporting her since her Bongo Maffin days, over 10 years prior.

Thandiswa clarified that the name Sankofa, was taken from a language in Ghana and it signified “return and get it”. The energy on her TL was clear as the last independent collection Thandiswa skilled the world with was Belede, in 2016.
The songstress had been discussing how it is significant for African specialists to make their own chronicles and assume responsibility for their inheritance in all angles. She’s had significant discussions on the TL about how guaranteeing that you safeguard your heritage as a craftsman will demonstrate helpful for the up and coming age of specialists.
